Emergency Cash Assistance Program

The Blue Card provides one-time grant assistance for urgent and emergency needs to improve the living/conditions of Holocaust survivors.

Emergency needs include:

• Housing and related costs, such as:
  • late payments to prevent eviction
  • homelessness
  • shut-off of utilities
  • Emergency Relocation
  • Home ad-ins and repairs such as stair lifts or plumbing
  • Purchase and repair of essential major and minor appliances
• Food purchases
• Dental care
• Medical care, including medical equipment, not otherwise covered by insurance
• Essential clothing and footwear
• Burial expenses
