The Blue Card’s Medication Assistance Grant provides financial assistance for survivors to aid them in purchasing lifesaving medication and co-pays. According to a recent study, 18 million Americans were recently unable to pay for at least one prescription medication for their household due to ever-rising costs, and 1 in 10 Americans have skipped doses to save money. Sadly, Holocaust survivors are a major part of this statistic, as they are much too often forced to ration their medications due to their limited monthly incomes and pensions.  

The support survivors receive from The Blue Card is invaluable, allowing them to receive lifesaving medication without causing them financial distress and with much relief and transparency.
