Dear Blue Card Community,
We at The Blue Card join Israel and the global community in expressing profound relief and gratitude as 20 living hostages have returned safely home.
Holocaust survivor, Sami Steigmann, 85, who is a Blue Card recipient, spoke with NBC 4 New York about how elated he was to see the 20 hostages back in Israel. Sami shared a heartfelt message to the former hostages as they begin to rebuild their lives.
Our Executive Director, Masha Pearl, also shared a message of reflection:
“Recovery does not end with freedom; it begins there.”
We stand with every person beginning the journey toward healing.
